You can call Sam anytime – even when the library is closed – to renew books, get a list of books you currently have checked out and their due dates, and find out about your overdue items. Here’s how to do it:

Have your library card number and your PIN number available before you call. If you don’t know your PIN number, you may call the Circulation Desk, when the library is open, at 732-873-8700 to obtain it.

Follow the prompts to enter and verify your library card number and your PIN number.

Then select from Sam’s menu options to:

• Hear a list of charged items
• Hear a list of overdue items
• Find out about fines owed
• Hear a list of items you have on hold
• Renew items you currently have charged out
• Change your PIN number
• Hear library announcements

Remember: If you have any questions about using Sam, or need your PIN number to access Sam, please call the Library’s Circulation Desk at 732-873-8700.

Sam will also be making calls on behalf of the library to let you know about items you have on hold that are available to be picked up, overdue items, and any bills on your library account.
