Centaurs in Vietnam: Untold Stories of the First Year

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the library will host Vietnam war veteran Carl Williams Burns on Wednesday, November 8 at 7PM.  He will share some of his experiences as an US Army officer and Huey pilot in the early days of America’s involvement in Vietnam, as well as the struggle to deal with the war’s personal and public legacies through the writing of his book, Centaurs in Vietnam: Untold Stories of The First Year (2008) and his volunteer efforts.  Please register.
