The Oxford African American Studies Center provides students, scholars and librarians with more than 20,000 articles by top scholars in the field Over 2,500 images, more than 700 primary sources with specially written commentaries, and nearly 200 maps have been collected to enhance this reference content

Salem Press Online is a full-text searchable versions of reference texts on history, science, literature, and medicine from Salem Press, Grey House Publishing, and Reference Shelf. Business & Investing

Business Source Elite: This business database provides full text for over 1,000 business publications. The rich collection of titles in Business Source Elite provides information dating back to 1985. More than 10,100 substantial company profiles from Datamonitor are also included. This database is updated on a daily basis via EBSCOhost.


Corfacts: New Jersey Business to Business Directory Includes information on over 64,000 New Jersey businesses. Can be used to create mailing labels and contact lists.

Reference Solutions: is a power collection of databases that can let individuals, entrepreneurs, and small business search for information consumer lifestyles, local business, healthcare businesses, white pages, and national job postings. Provided by the New Jersey State Library.


Small Business Reference Center: This database offers a wide variety of information on small business and entrepreneurial subject areas, common business types, a help and advice section, and provides information on how to create business plans that lead to successful funding.

Children & Teens

Designed with public library patrons in mind, Explora provides easy-to-use features and reliable content from the world’s leading magazines and reference books. Available on library computers and from mobile devices. Explora includes magazine and journal articles, primary source documents, newspaper articles, and Associated Press videos all searchable and available in easy-to-browse categories.


Middle Search: Middle Search Plus contains full text for more than 150 popular, middle school magazines. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 200 magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for thousands of biographies, historical essays and student pamphlets.

Heritage Quest is a comprehensive treasury of American genealogical sources—rich in unique primary sources, local and family histories, convenient research guides, interactive census maps, and more. Access to Heritage Quest is provided by the New Jersey State Library.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides researchers, allied health professionals, nurses, and medical educators access to scholarly journals on many medical disciplines. Image Collection: The Image Collection database consists of more than 1 million total images in these categories, broken down as follows: Photographs, Images from Canadian Press, Getty Images, and UPI Maps from Antenna Audio Photographs from public domain sources. The images consist of a wide array of photos and maps, with an emphasis on world news and events. Other areas of coverage include contemporary and historical photos of people, places, and the natural kingdom.

Little Pim: Little Pim (from Mango Languages) offers video based language learning specifically designed for children.


Mango Languages Online: Online language learning site includes: Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and others. Also includes a limited selection of ESL programs including English for Spanish speakers and English for Polish speakers.


Legal Information Resource Center: Providing exclusive online full text for many of the top consumer legal reference books, Legal Information Reference Center contains hundreds of full-text publications and thousands of legal forms, with more content being added on a regular basis.

Academic Search Premier: Academic Search Premier contains indexing for 8,025 publications, with full text for more than 4,500 of those titles. Provided by the New Jersey State Library.
