Welcome to Genre Picks! Release schedule permitting I’ll be picking several titles debuting each week that might interest fans of genre fiction. Library Journal called Caitlin Kiernan “dark fantasy’s most quixotically brilliant writer.” Thanks the crowdsourcing website Kickstarter, Kiernan was able to fund a book trailer for her latest book, The Drowning Girl.

Here is the publisher’s synopsis:
