The chess tournament isn’t held every year, but we do have instructional chess sessions for children on the first Monday evening of most months between October and June, depending on the availability of our volunteer chess tutor. Registration is required, and begins two weeks before each session.

All information about programs, classes, and special events for children is published on the library website’s online Events Calendar, as well as in a paper flyer that you can pick up at either library location: Main Library – 485 DeMott Lane, Somerset, Branch Library – 3391 Rt. 27 S., Franklin Park.

Thank you for your interest in children’s programs at the Franklin Township Public Library.
