Spring Activities for Children at the Library

Hop on over to the Main Library on DeMott Lane for some springtime fun! First up is Tuckers’ Tales Puppet Theater presenting Peter Rabbit Tales on Sunday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m.

Then, during the public school break, it’s The Reading Connection, our award-winning program for emergent readers, on Tuesday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m.

Gather the family together for lunch (bring your own picnic) and a movie on Wednesday, April 12, at 12:00 noon and go retro as you watch the Stephen Spielberg classic E.T.

And finally, get artistic at our annual Spring Egg Collage on Thursday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m., where you can decorate a large paper egg with beautiful bits of color and printed paper.

Please register online, by telephone, or in person for all of these programs except the Spring Egg Collage.

Oh, and look for the Library table at the Parks & Rec annual Bunny Jamboree on Saturday, April 8, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., where we will help you make a paper bunny stick puppet!
