Haiku Buttons and Feather Crafts for Teens
Tuesday April 18th @ 7pm
Embrace the Spring with crafts inspired by our feathered friends. We’ll be making feathered pencils, jewelry, and more. Plus, test your haiku skills by making a unique button in honor of National Poetry Month. No registration required.

 

 

 

Don’t know what a Haiku is?  It’s a traditional form of Japanese poetry consisting of 3 lines each with a specific number syllables.  The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables.
Sample Haiku:
You must scratch me there!
Yes, above my tail!
Behold, elevator butt.
