Public Computers
To use a computer simply enter your library barcode in the top field and your pin number in the bottom field to log on.
If you do not have a library card or do not know your pin number please ask at the Reference Desk for assistence.
The library currently has 26 computers available for public use. Access to the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is available on each of these terminals. USB ports (to plug in a flash drive) are available in most computers.
The charge for printing is $.10 per page for black and white printouts and $.50 per page for color.
The Library has seven public access terminals reserved for searching the Library’s collection catalog: one in the Children’s section, two near the Butterfly Garden, three near the Circulation desk, and two near the Reference desk.
Wireless Access is available. Users near the Adult Reference Desk should connect to "Franklin1" network. Patrons closer to the Childrens' section are should connect to the "Franklin2" network.
