December Programs for Little Ones

There is still a full week of programming for toddlers and preschool children at both the main and the branch libraries!

Scribble Time: Space is available in our award-winning Scribble Time program for ages 12 – 36 months. We added a new activity for December: The children explore painting with sponges. We’re using the popular sponge paint brushes on a stick. A morning session will be held on Monday, December 15, at 11:00 a.m. and an evening session on Tuesday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m. Register from the events calendar on the library website or call the Children’s Desk.

Toddler Tales will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17. No registration is necessary for this program that helps kids ease their way from nursery rhyme programs to longer story programs.

Families can gather for ‘Twas the Night Before iPad – a little twist on stories for the December holidays that features books and digital stories.

Preschool Children can make a craft related to a story at PreK Surprise on Thursday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m.

The week ends with three nursery rhyme programs, on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Friday morning at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
