An Apple A Day with Artist Leeza Hernandez

Grab the kids and join the library staff for a special apple celebration on Sunday, October 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Main Library, when artist and author Leeza Hernandez (who did the amazing art for our Universe of Stories summer reading program) and her daughter share their favorite pieces from a 100-day mother/daughter art project featuring APPLES!

The artists will talk about how they created their apple art and show off some of their favorites during a 45-minute segment. An apple art project will follow along with a chance to chat with Leeza and her daughter.

Please register.

You Can Be Part of the Art Show Too!
Pick up a piece of a giant apple canvas at the Main Library on DeMott Lane NOW and create art with your child on it.

Return it no later than Wednesday, October 16.

Leeza will assemble the pieces and reveal our Franklin Township Community Apple at program on Sunday, October 20.

You can see some of their work on display in the lobby of the Main Library on DeMott Lane.
