Teen Annual Online Poetry Jam – 2022

April is National Poetry Month! Show your creativity and earn a chance to win one of 2 $20 Amazon giftcards! Students ages 12-17 are invited to submit poems to our Teen Virtual Poetry Jam. Submit your poems to kbilton[at]franklintwp[dot]org. Please don’t use school email accounts to submit. Each submitted poem equals one raffle ticket. Up to 3 entries per person permitted. All poems must be typed in the body of an email or in attachment that is easily opened such as a PDF or Word Doc. Scans or images of handwritten documents will not be accepted. All entries must be family friendly in nature; nothing explicit, offensive or demeaning in any way will be accepted. All poems may be posted on library teen social media (@ftplteens on Instagram and Snapchat) with the student’s first name only unless requested to be anonymous and at the discretion of the teen librarian. Two random winners will be drawn from all eligible entries. Winners must be able to pick up the prize, in person, at the library. Any questions, please email kbilton[at]franklintwp[dot]org. Contest runs March 21 – April 24, 2022. The winners will be notified via email shortly after April 25.
