The Hall-Mills Murders 100th Anniversary Lobby Display

Stop by the DeMott Lane branch to take a look at our special lobby display for the Hall-Mills Murders 100th anniversary! It features several items from our historical collection, including maps and photographs from the era, letters from several people involved in the case, and even the eyeglasses of one the of suspected murderers.



Items pictured include: contemporary newspaper clippings, photographs, and post cards sent from the murder suspects.




Pictured above: the murder victims, murder suspects, and others at the center of the nationwide scandal surrounding the case.

Pictured above: a map of the area in Franklin Township where the murders occurred as it looked 100 years ago.
