Upcoming Computer Classes at the Library

We have two great in-person computer courses left on our schedule for February 2023! No registration is necessary, and no library card is needed to attend. However, limited space is available; patrons will be admitted into the program on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please feel free to bring your own laptop or device, or borrow one of ours.

Topics in ExcelWednesday, 2/22 at 6:00-7:30pm. DeMott Lane

Learn more of the basics of this popular software program designed for storing, organizing and manipulating data. Participants will create a basic spreadsheet during class and practice using some more of the tools in this program. Registrants should have already taken Introduction to MS Excel 2013 before taking this class, or at least have familiarity with Excel basics.

Google Docs & SheetsMonday, 2/27 at 10:30am-12:00pm. DeMott Lane

Learn to use Google Docs and Sheets, a free, web-based alternative to Microsoft Word and Excel. You must be able to use a mouse and be familiar with basic computer concepts such as opening, closing, and re-sizing windows before taking this class.

The programs listed above are on-site and in-person. Masks are now optional. In-person programming capacity is limited and the Community Room will be set up for proper social distancing. If you have any questions regarding the library’s COVID-19 policies and programming, please call us at 732-873-8700 opt. 3.
