This spring New Jersey schools will experience a change in standardized testing.  The NJ HSPA and NJ ASK are being replaced by the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers).   This new test is based on the common core, and you can find more information about it at their website.  You can also get information on a grade by grade level at the NJ Department of Education website. You can also find sample test questions online in the educator’s section of the PARCC website and sign up for the newsletter. You may also want to check out this PARCC online resource site.

There are online practice tests available as well through Pearson.  These appear to be free, but there may be a charge.

Also, the MCAT exam changed as of January 23, 2015.  The Library has 2015 materials available at 378.1662 MCA, as does the Khan Academy.  There are other links to free MCAT prep online, like at iCollaborative.  You get a discount if you register early.  This also has deadlines and the year’s registration schedule.
