Armchair Art Tour: The Grandeur That Was Rome (in New Jersey) – Tuesday, 4/5 at 7pm via Zoom.

This art history lecture will explore ancient Roman art from the collections of New Jersey-area institutions including the Montclair Art Museum, the Newark Museum, the Princeton University Art Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Please click here to register.



Craft Break: Coloring for Adults – Friday, 4/8 at 2pm at and Wednesday, 4/13 at 6:30pm. DeMott Lane Branch.

Take a break from your day and unwind with an hour of coloring. We’ll provide coloring pages of varying difficulty levels and varying themes, as well as colored pencils. Click on of the following dates to register: 4/8 | 4/13

Registration is required. This is an on-site, in-person program. Masks are now recommended for library visitors, but they are no longer required. In-person programming capacity is limited and the Community Room will be set up for proper social distancing. Getting the Most Out of Astronomy – Wednesday, 4/20 at 7pm via Zoom.

This program will go over several astronomy tools, tips, and websites that are great resources to help you get the most out of the hobby. Presented by The Franklin Township Astronomy Club, an open and inclusive club which promotes both the science and joy of astronomy and its related activities. This is an introductory-level session— no advanced degrees required! There will be plenty of time for questions. Please click here to register.

Health & Fitness



Beginner Yoga – Mondays at 5pm via Zoom.

New to yoga? Learn the foundations for establishing a safe and effective yoga practice. Click one of the following dates to register: 4/4 | 4/11 | 4/18 | 4/25



Chair Yoga – Thursday, 4/14 and 4/28 at 11am via Zoom.

This gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Register here: 4/14 | 4/28



Meditation – Thursday, 4/14 at 7pm via Zoom.

Are you interested in trying meditation to reduce stress or calm your mind? Come try a guided mindfulness meditation session. The process focuses on non-judgmental awareness of our thoughts and actions to achieve relaxation and calm. Please click here to register.



Tai Chi for Beginners – Saturday, 4/9 and 4/23 at 7pm via Zoom.

English as a Second Language Class – Mondays at 2pm via Zoom.

A free, Basic ESL conversation group led by an experienced, NJ-certified ESL teacher. Offered to ESL students who have a basic, working knowledge of English and wish to gain confidence speaking English. Click one of the following dates to register: 4/4 | 4/11 | 4/18 | 4/25



Pet Loss Support – Saturday, 4/09 at 1:15pm via Zoom.

Pet parents who have lost a pet, or anticipate a loss, gather to share stories and memories with like minds and hearts. The Friends of Nikki Pet Loss Support Group was founded 3/8/01 and has been serving the community for over 19 years.
