Concert: Simple Gifts – Sunday, 4/11 at 2pm via Zoom.
Drawing on an impressive variety of ethnic folk styles, this award-winning duo plays everything from lively Irish jigs and down-home American reels to hard-driving Klezmer frailachs and haunting Gypsy melodies, spicing the mix with the distinctive rhythms of Balkan dance music, the lush sounds of Scandinavian twin fiddling, and original compositions written in a traditional style. These women deliver their music with rare intensity and contagious enthusiasm. It’s obvious that Simple Gifts loves the music they play and knows how to share their excitement with the audience. This is an act not to be missed!
Pet Loss Support – Sunday, 4/18 at 1:15 via Zoom.
Pet parents who have lost a pet, or anticipate a loss, gather to share stories and memories with like minds and hearts. The Friends of Nikki Pet Loss Support Group was founded 3/8/01 and has been serving the community for over 19 years.

Meal Planning Simplified – Tuesday, 4/20 at 7pm via Zoom.
If cooking and meal planning have begun to feel like stressful chores or you need new food inspiration, join us for this program. Vanessa Young of Thirsty Radish will share tips, strategies, and recipes for delicious weekly meals. In this class, you will learn how to stretch meals creatively over multiple days, create satisfying flavor combinations, improve kitchen organization, and use simple strategies that work whether you are cooking for one or a crowd.
Vanessa Young is a cooking instructor, recipe developer and writer dedicated to helping home cooks reignite their passion for cooking. From butchers to bakers, her family is a long line of self-taught and professional chefs. She melds their influences in her artful approach to food and wellness topics and her focus on seasonal meals. As the founder of Thirsty Radish (www.thirstyradish.com), she shares recipes and inspires a creative approach to life in and out of the kitchen.
Workforce Wednesday: What Employers Look for in Applicant Resumes and LinkedIn Profiles – Wednesday, 4/21 at 10am via Zoom.
Learn what hiring managers do–and don’t!–want to see from prospective interviewees when it comes to their resumes and LinkedIn pages. Talent development specialists from Peapack-Gladstone Bank will present a career webinar on resumes and LinkedIn from an employer’s perspective. Christopher McNally, recruiter, and Erin Villagra, talent development specialist, will offer dos and don’ts in various resume and linkedIn practices. Brought to us by the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center.
Death Cafe – Thursday, 4/22 at 7pm via Zoom.
Join the open discussion on death and dying. Death Cafe is where we can openly discuss our thoughts on this ‘taboo” topic in a safe and respectful setting. Bring your favorite drink and snack!

Sorting Our Your Spring Cleaning Checklist with Jamie Novak – Tuesday, 4/27 at 6:30pm via Zoom.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list? Too many spring cleaning and organizing chores to tackle? Log on and learn how to simplify your tasks, hear clever hints and must know shortcuts, plus, how to find the time and motivation to get it everything done! Join author and de-cluttering humorist Jamie Novak for this online program when she’ll help you create your own personalized checklist. She’ll also guide you through your first task, so you can get a jump start on your spring cleaning checklist.

Jamie spends most days presenting virtual programs on how to de-stress and de-clutter, with a humorous twist. Virtual Sit n’ Knit or Crochet – Wednesday, 4/28 at 2:30pm via Zoom.
Join us virtually for knitting and crocheting! If you’re experienced fiber enthusiast, or just beginning your fiber journey, bring along your creations for some show and tell. All levels are welcome. Open to adults and teens.
