On Sunday, February 3, 2013, Mayor Brian Levine challenged ten students to a simultaneous game of chess. Chess coach Ismael Cartagena-Vidro told the students, “Your job is to make the mayor sweat.” Five games were won by the mayor, and five games were declared a draw at the predetermined ending time.
