Virtual Programs for Job Seekers – Summer 2020

If you’re on the hunt for a new job and need help starting your online search, or if you’re looking to update and expand your skill set, the library has two great virtual events for job seekers scheduled for Summer 2020. Both are free to attend and will take place via online video call (registration is required).



ReferenceUSA for Job Seekers – Friday, July 24 10:30-11:30 AM via ZOOM

Join Bill Carlson from ReferenceUSA as he teaches you how to use ReferenceUSA’s powerful resources to search for employment opportunities. This program is presented in partnership with the New Jersey State Library. Registrants will be sent a Zoom link prior to the meeting. Please click here to register.



SkillUp Workshop from the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board – Tuesday, August 4 2:00-3:00 PM AND Tuesday, August 18 10:00-11:00 AM Via GoToMeeting

SkillUp Greater Raritan, a program presented by the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board, is a free online learning portal for residents of Hunterdon and Somerset counties. SkillUp participants can access hundreds of different courses, ranging from Business Etiquette to Microsoft Office, and Human Resources to Customer Service, and much more. Participants will learn how to register for SkillUp, explore career pathways, browse the course catalog, and start the classes, all for free.
