Computers & Technology Services

The Library has 29 computers available for public use during our regular operating hours. Computers located in our Reference and Young Adult areas have access to the internet and are equipped with Microsoft Office 2016 Standard (this includes Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Computers in our Youth Services area have access to the internet and a variety of educational games. Please see the Library’s Internet Use Policy before using the internet on these computers. For users who require audio we ask that you please bring you own headphones or purchase a pair of earbuds for $1.00 at the Adult Reference Desk.

Library patrons can access these computers by logging in with a library barcode number. Guest passes are available at the Adult Reference Desk and the Youth Services Desk. Users are granted sessions in 30 minute increments.

Public access Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the library. The library’s public access Wi-Fi can be accessed using the password 12345678.

Printing is available for $0.10 per page, black and white, or $0.50 per page in color. The Library accepts cash only for printing. Users are able to print from computers located in the Reference and Young Adult area.

There are three photocopiers located at our DeMott Lane address (2 black and white, 1 color) and one photocopier at our Franklin Park address. Black and white copies cost $0.10 per page or $0.30 per page in color.

All copiers accept cash only.

The color copier at the DeMott lane location can be used for self-service scanning. Self-service scanning requires the use of USB drive. Complete instructions for scanning can be found next to the copier or by clicking here. Self-service scanning is free.

The Fax24 machine located next to the printers in the Reference area can also scan documents. The document can then be accessed at myfaxscan.com.

USB drives are available at the reference desk for $4.00.

A self-service Fax machine is available, for sending only, at the Library’s DeMott lane location. Faxing services are provided by Fax24. Domestic faxes cost $1.75 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. International faxes cost $3.95 for the first page and $3.45 for each additional page.
