Technerella

2:30-3:15 PM on Monday, August 4, come see our children’s librarians put on TECHNERELLA!

If you like puppets, the story of Cinderella or robots… or all three, reserve your space today and come watch the fantastic new play, Technerella!  It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity your little one will definitely enjoy.

Don’t forget to check out the other great events our Children’s Department has going on not only in the summer but all year ’round!

It’s the end of July, which means there are only 15 more days to log your summer reading!  While you’re doing that and picking your next selections, so you can win our great prizes and get entered in our Grand Prize drawings, here’s a fun interactive periodic table that goes with our summer reading theme!  Theme recommendations are available on our summer reading pages, and we have bookmark recommendations for adults as well.

Come join us for the Family Film Cafe showing of The LEGO Movie on Tuesday, July 22 at 7-8:45 PM.

Bring your own picnic supper or just a dessert to snack on as you enjoy this film on our large screen.
Please register so that we can set up a table for your group.  A parent must be with child at all times during the film.
If you print your tickets, you may bring them directly to the program, which will be held in the Community Room.
We know that’s a bit far away and that you just can’t get enough LEGOs however, so enjoy these great dioramas of Libraries and Bookstores!   What can you come up with? Share your LEGO designs with us!

The Fourth of July has passed, and that means summer has truly started.  You may already be sick of the pool, although we doubt it, but just in case you want to vary your routine a bit, why not try one of the “Free and Almost Free Places” for fun in New Jersey (and some in nearby states)?  This site has 50 places/activities listed, and there are more in the comments.  Check it out and see what other places or lists you find on your own!

Don’t forget to take advantage of our great free summer programs too… check out our adultyoung adult and children’s calendars!
