Staring today, January 4th the library will now offer two new exciting ways to manage your hold requests!
Going away on vacation, but don’t want to miss your hold coming in? Suspend a hold request! Your place will be frozen in the hold’s queue until you return. You can suspend a hold yourself online or by asking a staff member. To suspend a new hold simply enter the start and end date when placing the hold. To suspend a title you already have on hold, log into your account using your library card and pin number. Find your active holds and select the start and end date.
Need an item by a specific date? Just call and ask us to set your hold request to cancel automatically if it does not arrive in time. Or you can set an expiration date when placing a hold in the catalog.
