If you’ve been in the Demott Lane branch of the library recently, you’ve probably noticed all the equipment around. Construction on the new roof is going smoothly! For the time being, adult fiction is temporarily unavailable for browsing, but these books may be placed on hold and retrieved by staff members when construction has finished for the day. New books, manga and graphic novels, and DVDs have been temporarily moved to the beginning of the nonfiction section.

As the library switches to a new software system, some things will be unavailable in the coming few days. Starting Monday, May 6th, holds will not be able to by placed on any items. Tuesday, May 7th through Tuesday, May 14, patrons will ONLY be able to check out items. Patrons will be unable to place holds or return books; please hold on to all checked out materials until Sunday, May 18th. There will be NO late fees during this period. Databases and digital materials accessed through cloudLibrary will remain available as usual.
